If you require accurate location information, whether to stay up-to-date or for immediate decision making, our GIS(Geographic Information System) Mapping Services using GPS(Global Positioning System) technology can help you in terms of efficiency and productivity.
Using an advanced Mobile GIS Data Capture System, our team can accurately collect, manage and analyze the position data of your assets. For poor signal reception areas, we use a laser range finder to perform GPS offsets to obtain the correct position data. If this still fails, equipment called Total Station will be used by our team to determine angles and distances of the points to be surveyed.
The position data taken adopts the SVY21 coordinate system as established by the Singapore Land Authority. If required, we are able to subscribe to SLA SiReNT (Singapore Satellite Positioning Reference Network) Post-processing to achieve up to 0.2m accuracy whereas SiReNT increases the accuracy and reliability of GPS positioning.
GIS Mapping Services can be used for:
- Location of access chambers (manholes)
- Locate existing manholes/ chambers
- Angles/ bearing
- Distance between manholes and many more….
Also performing total station and leveling survey within the service network in order to determine or update the locations, gradients and route of the service network.
